Canon Bubblejet Printer Technologies

Some people might think that an inkjet printer will produce the same print qualities as a Bubblejet printer. Canon does not agree with this philosophy because they think that their conventional thermal print head is quite different than many Bubblejet printer models that use liquid ink to produce a written image of text on paper.

They have taken considerable time to develop their Bubblejet printer and are very proud of the results of their rigorous testing process. The discharge process has a lot to do with the quality of the ink that is placed on a piece of printer paper. The temperature of the ink and the viscosity of the ink as it leaves the ink nozzle will determine if the printed image is clear or if the image is blurred.

Most people are not aware that some maintenance must be done to any Bubblejet printer to keep the ink nozzle clear of dried ink. With the Canon models of Bubblejet printers, the discharge process relies on pressure being applied to the ink inside the nozzle, and by the time the ink reaches the end of the nozzle, a single droplet is formed. This single droplet of each is separated from all others as it is dispensed onto the printer paper. The direction that the ink goes when it leaves the nozzle will fluctuate if the nozzle needs to be cleaned.

Every droplet of ink that leaves a Bubblejet nozzle will not be uniform in size. These little fluctuations can be caused by a number of factors but the most common are timing in the nozzle going across a sheet of paper and the position that the nozzle reaches when it is released onto the paper. Some errors occur if the Bubblejet printer is bumped at any time during the printing process.

The Canon Bubblejet printer incorporates a Microfine Droplet Technology. This technology allows the ink to heat up and vaporize when it is inside the ink nozzle. This vaporization forms microbubbles that are typically closer to the nozzle edge than many Bubblejet printers on the market today. Some people that work on deadline all of the time know what this type of pressure feels like.

The heated ink that occurs during the microbubble forming process is forced out of the Bubblejet printer nozzle without the aid of any other type of machinery. Canon has designed their Bubblejet ink so that every droplet emerges from the nozzle in a uniform manner and at the same speed calculations.

Some people think that Bubblejet printer quality will be affected by air vents that surround their offices but there worries are for naught. The nozzles that deliver the microbubbles to the tip are not affect by any type of variation in temperature or wind speed that surrounds the Bubblejet print. The presence of an air vent will not affect the size of the droplets that emerge from the Canon Bubblejet printer.

Mechanisms are not needed to force the microbubbles from the Bubblejet nozzle. The pressure alone is the force behind the microbubbles being ejected from the Bubblejet printer nozzle. Since there are no additional drafts of air involved in this type of microbubble technology, the images that are produced are vivid and clear.
