Does your boyfriend snore?
By: Reni Moller

If your partner snores, you will be happy to realize that latest research gives you an excellent reason to complain about it.

The study, which was carried out by the Institute for Research on Ageing and Gender at the University of Surrey, suggests that people whose sleeping partners snore may lose 2 years of sleep in the course of a lifetime.

If you are unfortunate enough to share bed with a snorer, you are aware that snoring causes interrupted sleep, which can have a negative impact on your health and overall quality of life. The study estimates many people mainly women, every night are woken regularly by their partners snoring. Those affected lose around an hour of sleep every night.

Calculation shows that those unlucky enough to sleep next to a snorer would lose approximately 15 days sleep every year. Many snorers are not aware of the problems that their snoring can cause their partner. Many snorers just don’t realize how much they affect their partner’s health and disrupt their sleep. Worse still, they do not understand how dangerous snoring can be for their own health.

Snoring is related to decrease in quality of life in the form of cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, headache, migraine, stress, OSA and premature death.

Susan Venn at the University of Surreys, found that despite the risks connected with snoring, many men she interviewed found it to be an acceptable part of life. She also found that many of their wives had developed some rather elaborate ways of coping with the problem, such as separate bedroom.

Other studies estimate that 25% sleep separately, while half admit it affects their relationship. If you are the wife of a snorer, you will find plenty of snoring advice on the web. However, if you cannot face sewing a tennis ball into your sleeping partner’s pajamas or testing out any other of the many advice on the web, you should be pleased to know that there are snore stop remedies there are clinical tested and proven.

Easy to applicate and really works.
