Reducing stress and burning calories can help in regulating weight and there is already too many obese and unhealthy babies. Teaching yoga to your baby early will not only improve digestion and neuromuscular development, but will also strengthen its immune system. Less trips to the doctors due to a sick child means a better life for the parents. The consistent practise of yoga between the parent and the baby will also allow for better parent baby bonding. There is currently a need for more parent child interactions as the parents are normally too busy at work, thus having no time to spend with their children. Having a special organic baby yoga activity for the children and the parents will create closer interactions in the family. Yoga can greatly improve self esteem and by practising the methods, one's confidence rises. Other than the physical positive effects in practising yoga for a baby or child, being calm and relaxed as well as having reduced anxiety and stress levels, leads to a child that has increased self esteem. There is a need for self esteem in children so as to give them better social interaction skills. Practising organic baby yoga is a new concept but probably has come at the right time. If both the parent and the baby are practising yoga, it would lead to a healthier family and deepening parent, child and sibling bonding.
