Later in life recent or short term (triggering) events that are intense, occur rapidly and outweigh a person’s coping mechanism can lead to anxiety patterns. As well as ongoing life challenges that overtime outweigh a person’s coping mechanisms can lead to anxiety and stress onset. The basic causes of anxiety and stress can be separated into these categories: Predisposing causes, recent, short-term or triggering causes, and maintaining causes. How does a person heal stress and anxiety and prevent the experience of anxiety in the future?
