Tips to help you save time when you work out
By: Dr. Francis Lornet

Time is the most precious element today. When everyone is so busy where is the time to eat or exercise. There are many ways one can work out as well as save time. For example, take the stairs and not the elevator at your work place. During your lunch break you can exercise so that you don’t waste time.
Experts feel that walking is the best form of exercise. Call your client to the nearby park and have your discussion while walking instead of sitting in your office. A little afternoon sun and walk can lift your spirits and improve productivity.

For a working mother spending quality time with her child is a rarity. So plan your work out sessions along with your child’s school PE. Many schools offer these facilities. You will enjoy these sessions and so will your kid.

For students campus activities are a plenty. Pick your favorite sport or try something, which you have never done before. This way you can interact with your classmates about your studies as well as exercise your muscles.

Boot camp is typically a one-hour workout performed outdoors year-round regardless of conditions. Camp starts with the first five minutes of warm-up followed with stretching. The next 40 minutes include a combination of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sprinting, yoga, boxing, obstacle courses, drills, games and more.

The last five to 10 minutes of class are spent cooling down and stretching. Women can accompany their kids to these camps and gain double benefits from it. Or further still it can be turned into a family holiday.

No two workouts are alike, and everyone works to the best of their ability. You can always plan a ten minute workout at the gym and then cycle to work. You can take a shower at the office itself. Some offices that are fitness conscious have a gym in their block itself. Use it to your advantage and feel good about yourself.

Exercise is never a waste of time. It helps in keeping you fit and healthy. It reduces the risk of hear attacks and can be great fun if done in a group with like minded people. So one has to make a commitment to find time to work out and lead a healthy living.
