And something else that the area is well known for is the number of art galleries and artists that often open their studios for public viewing. This is definitely a community rich in culture!

Campbell River has something for everyone and truly combines the best of both worlds! One can head indoors to some of the best shows in the finest theaters, eat in any one of the award-wining restaurants or they can head outside to where some say is the real treasure of this area. White rapids in the area are a great hobby for the adventure seekers and the view of the water and the mountains can’t be beat if you take a hike through one of the many trails. This is one area that truly has a little bit of everything!

But if you’re moving to Vancouver Island, there’s no doubt that moving to Victoria has crossed your mind. Victoria is known for its many botanical gardens and its historic architecture and museums. Because of everything offered here, Victoria may be one of the most expensive areas to live in Canada.
